Ceramic Coating

What IS Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic coatings are liquid polymer coatings that are applied to vehicles to protect from scratches, UV rays, chemicals, and other sources of damage. These coatings create a strong, transparent layer that bonds to the surface, providing long-lasting protection and a glossy finish.

At Cougle's, we apply ceramic coatings to various vehicles to help our customers protect their vehicles and keep them looking new. Our trained technicians carefully clean and prepare the surface before applying a layer of ceramic coating using specialized tools and techniques. Once applied, the coating cures and hardens to create a durable barrier that helps repel water, dirt, and other contaminants.

We offer a range of ceramic coating products and our team is dedicated to providing high-quality service and results for our customers. With our expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction, we can help you protect your belongings and keep them looking great for years to come.

How do you apply a coating?

Years ago, waxes were the key to car lovers hearts, keeping your vehicle fresh and shiny for months all by a little buffing and elbow grease. Fast forward 10 years, Ceramic coatings are not like your traditional wax. Normally, It's as easy as cleaning your car- then applying wax by hand, but much more comes into play with ceramic coatings.

Firstly, we begin with our basic prep work. Cleaning the vehicle with a "foam cannon," and utilizing our contact wash method. After your vehicle is clean- we continue with a more in-depth automotive clay bar process. Using soap as lubrication we deep-clean your clearcoat, assuring it's as free from dirt and grime as possible. Then we move to our iron-decontamination and paint correction phases.

Paint correction is required for almost every ceramic application, nobodies paint is perfect- so we remove all minor scratches, swirls, and other small imperfections in your paint. Lastly, we apply our ceramic in two layers to your vehicle, to ensure durability.
